Cancer trial aims to cut radiation side effects without losing effectiveness

Summary
This study is testing whether a lower dose of radiation therapy works as well as the standard dose for certain patients with stage III nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of head and neck cancer). It will enroll about 593 patients in China who respond well to initial chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The main goal is to see if the lower radiation dose can control the cancer just as effectively while potentially causing fewer side effects and improving quality of life.
