Can a daily dose of red light save your sight?
NCT ID NCT07312214
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, at-home red light therapy can slow down vision loss in adults with severe, progressive nearsightedness. Researchers want to see if shining a special red light into the eye twice a day can improve blood flow and protect the retina. Participants will use either the real light device or a look-alike dummy device for 12 months to compare results.
