Red light at home: a new hope to halt worsening vision?
NCT ID NCT07369804
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a special red light device, used at home, can help control nearsightedness in adults. Fourteen participants will use the light twice daily for a month while researchers check if it safely improves blood flow and thickness in the back of the eye. The goal is to see if this could become a safer alternative to laser treatments for managing worsening vision.
