Can red light stop nearsightedness from getting worse?

NCT ID NCT07186088

Summary

This study aims to see if regularly shining a safe, low-intensity red light into the eyes can slow down or control the progression of nearsightedness in adults. It will test two different types of light devices and different frequencies of use. Researchers will measure changes in eye length and vision to determine if the treatment is effective and safe.
