Red light therapy tested to halt worsening eyesight in kids

NCT ID NCT07208617

Summary

This study is testing a new version of a red light device to see if it can safely slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children and teenagers. The device uses a specific wavelength of red LED light. Researchers will measure changes in the length of the eye and vision to see if the treatment helps control the condition better than a fake device.
