Summary

This study aimed to create questionnaires that measure how people perceive and experience rectal microbicide products (gels, creams, and liquids) during anal sex. 18 men and women who had anal sex at least twice in the past 6 months tested three different formulations and reported their sensations. The goal was to develop better tools for future research on HIV prevention products.
