First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study compares how quickly people recover from two types of general anesthesia used during mouth surgery for tumors. 42 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either propofol (given through a vein) or sevoflurane (inhaled gas). Researchers will measure recovery quality, muscle strength, nausea, and shivering after surgery to see if one method leads to a faster, smoother recovery.
