First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested whether a herbal medicine called Reconyl can safely relieve acute cough. 144 adults with sudden cough took either Reconyl or a placebo three times daily for 7 days. The main goal was to see if cough severity improved, measured by a standard scale. The trial is complete and results will show if this traditional remedy works better than a dummy pill.
