NCT ID NCT06489015

First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a lab-made version of a natural blood protein (rHSA) is safe and can help people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's. Thirty adults aged 50-85 will receive one of three doses (20g, 30g, or 40g) and be monitored for about 6 months. The main goal is to see if it slows cognitive decline, but this is an exploratory trial, not a cure.
