Rebozo technique may help babies turn during labor
NCT ID NCT06887634
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests if a combination of specific maternal positions and the Rebozo technique (a gentle scarf-based method) can help turn a baby from a 'back-to-back' position during labor. About 578 women in early labor with a baby in this position will be randomly assigned to either the special sequence or standard care. The goal is to see if the intervention reduces the chance the baby stays in the difficult position after about 3.5 hours.
