First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding dexamethasone, dexmedetomidine, or both to a standard nerve block can reduce the intense pain that often occurs when the block wears off after upper limb surgery. About 75 adults aged 20-65 will be randomly assigned to one of three groups. The goal is to find a better way to manage pain after surgery without strong side effects.
