Summary

This study is testing whether a mixed reality program called Reality PAWS, which lets children interact with a virtual dog using a VR headset, is a safe and helpful option for kids in hospital isolation. About 50 children aged 8 to 21 will try the program and answer surveys about their pain, anxiety, and loneliness. The goal is to see if this technology can replace in-person dog therapy when kids cannot have visitors.
