Major study reveals what happens when first breast cancer treatment stops working
NCT ID NCT06975371
Summary
This study looked at what happens to patients with advanced breast cancer after their first standard treatment stops working. Researchers analyzed health records of 1,415 patients to understand what treatments they received next and how long those treatments kept the cancer under control. No new treatments were tested—this was purely an observational study to learn from real patient experiences.
