First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether real-time brain imaging (fMRI) can help people with schizophrenia learn to quiet the auditory hallucinations (hearing voices) that don't respond to medication. Participants will receive neurofeedback training to reduce activity in a brain area linked to voices. The goal is to see if this training can lessen the severity of hallucinations.
