First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study follows 30 adults with chronic hepatitis C (genotype 3) and mild to moderate liver fibrosis who are taking ravidasvir and sofosbuvir as part of their regular care. Researchers will check if the virus is undetectable 12 weeks after treatment ends (SVR12). The goal is to see how well this drug combination works in a real-world setting.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

ravidasvir and sofosbuvir

What this could lead to

If successful, this could confirm that the combination of ravidasvir and sofosbuvir effectively clears the hepatitis C virus in people with genotype 3 and mild liver damage.

What could go wrong

This is a small observational study with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. It is not a randomized trial, and the long-term durability of the response beyond 12 weeks is not assessed.
