First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of managing heart devices like pacemakers and defibrillators: using remote alerts versus following standard guidelines. About 120 adults with these devices will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches. The goal is to see if alert-driven care is safer and more effective.
