New Finger-Prick test could speed up diagnosis of deadly fever

Summary
This study is testing a new rapid diagnostic device to quickly identify Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) at the point of care in clinics. It will involve 492 adults in Turkey who are suspected of having CCHF. The main goal is to see if this simple test is as accurate as the current gold-standard lab test (PCR) for detecting the virus.
