New hope to stop the cycle of painful bladder infections

NCT ID NCT06284265

Summary

This study is testing if a medication called Raphamin can help prevent future painful bladder infections (chronic bacterial cystitis) in women who keep getting them. Over 400 women will take either Raphamin or a placebo pill for 10 days alongside a standard antibiotic when they have a flare-up. Researchers will then track them for 6 months to see if Raphamin helps them stay infection-free for longer.
