New drug shows promise for Tough-to-Treat seizures

Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called RAP-219 in 30 adults with refractory focal epilepsy, a type of epilepsy that doesn't respond well to standard treatments. All participants had a brain implant to monitor seizures. The goal was to see if RAP-219 could safely reduce the number of seizures. The study is now complete.
