New hope for stomach cancer patients: drug combo tested in major trial

Summary
This study looks at whether a new combination of drugs (ramucirumab plus FOLFIRI) can help people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer live longer. It is for patients whose cancer got worse after one round of chemotherapy. The trial compares this new combo to the current standard treatment (ramucirumab plus paclitaxel). About 429 adults will take part.
