First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study will check how well a specific ultrasound finding called the 'rail sign' can detect placenta accreta, a serious condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the womb. Researchers will scan 90 pregnant women with placenta previa during their second and third trimesters. The goal is to see if this sign can accurately identify the condition and help doctors make faster, safer decisions.
