First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special decision aid website helps people with intermediate-risk thyroid cancer make informed choices about radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment. About 408 participants will be randomly assigned to use either the decision aid or a standard information website. Researchers will compare how well each group understands the risks and benefits and whether their choices match their personal values.
