New hope for rare brain disorder: experimental drug enters final testing phase
NCT ID NCT07224581
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called radiprodil can help control seizures and improve daily living skills in children with GRIN-related neurodevelopmental disorder, a rare genetic condition. About 100 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the active drug or a placebo for several months, with the option for all to receive the drug afterward. The main goals are to see if radiprodil reduces seizure frequency and is safe for long-term use.
