Zapping nerves to tame stubborn high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT07130955
Summary
This study is testing a medical device that uses radiofrequency energy to calm overactive nerves near the kidneys. The goal is to see if this one-time procedure can safely lower blood pressure in adults whose high blood pressure is not well-controlled by multiple medications and who also have reduced kidney function. Researchers will compare the results in people who receive the procedure to those who do not.
