Zapping knee nerves to stop Post-Surgery pain

NCT ID NCT05920382

Summary

This study is testing a procedure called radiofrequency ablation to see if it can ease chronic pain in people who still have significant knee pain after a knee replacement. Researchers will use heat to target specific nerves around the knee to try to block pain signals. They will compare the results of this treatment against a placebo procedure in a group of 86 participants to see if it meaningfully reduces pain and improves movement.
