First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a single session of radiofrequency diathermy (a type of heat therapy) can improve pain sensitivity, heat perception, and tissue elasticity in postpartum women with separated abdominal muscles. About 48 women, 6 months to 1 year after giving birth, will receive either real or fake treatment. The goal is to see if the therapy offers immediate relief.
