Radiation vs surgery: which saves more lives from liver cancer?

NCT ID NCT07381660

Summary

This study compares two treatments for small liver cancer tumors: traditional surgery versus targeted radiation therapy. Researchers want to see which approach helps patients live longer while causing fewer side effects. The trial will include 312 adults with single tumors smaller than 5 cm who haven't had cancer spread to other organs.
