New training aims to shield nurses from hidden radiation risks

This study tests a training program designed to help operating room nurses better understand and protect themselves from radiation exposure. Fifty-four nurses will be split into two groups: one receives the special training, the other does not. The goal is to see if the training boosts their knowledge, awareness, motivation, and safety behaviors.
