High-Precision radiation blitz targets scattered cancer spots in major trial

NCT ID NCT03721341

Summary

This study is testing whether using very precise, high-dose radiation to destroy all visible spots of cancer that have spread (4-10 spots) helps people live longer and better than standard care alone. It is for adults whose original tumor is under control and who have a limited number of small, treatable metastases. The goal is to see if aggressively treating these spots can control the cancer's spread for a longer time.
