Radiation blitz aims to tame untreatable prostate cancer spread

NCT ID NCT06978296

Summary

This early study aims to find the maximum safe amount of tumor volume that can be treated with precise, high-dose radiation in men whose prostate cancer has spread to bones or lymph nodes and has stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will carefully increase the radiation dose across multiple tumors, focusing first on spots most likely to cause pain or serious problems like fractures. The goal is to see if this approach can extend the time patients live without severe pain or cancer-related complications.
