Summary
This study tested whether combining a targeted form of radiation with an immunotherapy drug (durvalumab) is safe and effective for older or frail patients with stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who are not healthy enough for standard chemotherapy. The goal was to see if this two-part treatment could better control the cancer. Researchers enrolled 51 patients to compare two different radiation schedules alongside the drug.
