Radiation offers new hope for liver cancer patients stuck on transplant waitlist

NCT ID NCT06218420

Summary

This study is testing a precise form of radiation therapy (SBRT) to control liver cancer in patients waiting for a liver transplant. It is for people who cannot receive the standard bridge treatments like ablation or chemoembolization. The goal is to see if this radiation can safely prevent the cancer from worsening during the wait, helping more patients make it to their transplant.
