Extra radiation blast aims to tame spine tumors

NCT ID NCT07478289

Summary

This study is testing whether adding an extra 'boost' dose of radiation to standard spine radiation treatment helps control cancer that has spread to the spine better. It aims to see if this approach keeps tumors from growing longer, reduces pain, and causes fewer long-term side effects. The trial will enroll 108 adults with solid tumors that have spread to their spine.
