Summary

This study aimed to find out if giving radiation therapy after surgery helps prevent early-stage oral cancer from coming back. It focused on patients whose surgically removed tumors were at least 5mm thick. After surgery, 392 participants were randomly assigned to either receive follow-up radiation or to be observed with no additional treatment.
