Shock wave treatment tested to help men with erectile dysfunction
NCT ID NCT03596047
Summary
This study tested if adding a non-invasive therapy called radial shock wave treatment to standard medication (sildenafil) could better help men with erectile dysfunction. 80 men were randomly assigned to receive either the real wave therapy or a fake (placebo) therapy alongside their medication. Researchers measured changes in erection quality and function to see if the wave treatment provided extra benefit.
