Quarterly shot could replace daily breast cancer pills

NCT ID NCT07401381

Summary

This study is testing a new quarterly injection of the hormone therapy drug letrozole to see if it gets into the bloodstream as well as the standard daily pill. It will involve 120 post-menopausal women who have already been treated for early-stage, hormone-positive breast cancer. The main goal is to compare the drug levels from the injection to the pill to see if they are similar.
