New hope for veterans: group therapy aims to curb suicide by fighting loneliness

Summary

This study is testing a new group therapy program called Qnnections, designed specifically to prevent suicide in LGBTQ+ Veterans. The program focuses on reducing feelings of loneliness and being a burden by helping Veterans build stronger social connections. Researchers are working with Veterans to refine the program and then will test if it is practical and acceptable to participants in a small pilot trial.
