Ancient exercise tested for instant student stress relief
NCT ID NCT07178275
Summary
This study is testing whether a single, one-hour session of a gentle mind-body exercise called Baduanjin Qigong can provide immediate relief from anxiety and improve mood in university students. It will involve 50 occupational therapy students who will try both the Qigong session and a control activity on separate days. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, mood, and reaction time right before and after the session to see if there are any quick benefits.
