Summary
This was the first study in humans to test a new experimental drug called QCZ484, which is being developed to help control high blood pressure. Researchers gave single injections to 56 healthy volunteers and people with mild hypertension to check if it was safe and to see how the body handled it. The main goal was to identify any side effects and understand how the drug moves through and affects the body.
