First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study follows 700 liver transplant patients to understand how portal vein thrombosis (a blood clot in the liver's main vein) affects their recovery and survival. Researchers will compare patients with and without the clot to identify risk factors and build a simple tool doctors can use to predict complications. The goal is to improve care for future transplant recipients.
