Summary

This study tests a new way to fight a type of malaria that can hide in the liver and come back. Researchers will use a simple blood test to find people who have been infected recently, then give them medicine to kill the hidden parasites. About 19,200 people in Ethiopia and Madagascar will take part to see if this approach reduces malaria cases.
