Skin color battle: old light therapy vs new pill for vitiligo
NCT ID NCT07055529
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two treatments works better for people with widespread vitiligo, a condition that causes loss of skin color. It will compare an established light-based treatment (PUVA) with a newer oral medication (Tofacitinib). Researchers will measure how much skin color returns and monitor side effects in 64 participants over six months to determine the safer, more effective option.
