First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether doing push-ups with blood flow restriction (using bands to partially limit blood flow to the arms) can temporarily improve upper body explosive power. Thirty healthy volleyball players aged 18-25 participated. The main goal was to measure how far they could throw a medicine ball after different push-up routines.
