New hope for aggressive blood cancer: experimental drug faces off against standard therapy

Summary
This study compares two drugs for people with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma that has come back or not responded to at least two prior treatments. About 390 adults will receive either purinostat mesylate (given by IV) or selinexor (taken as a pill). The goal is to see which drug works better at shrinking tumors and helping people live longer.
