Summary

This study watches how the pupil changes size when a nerve in the ear is stimulated during cochlear implant surgery. It involves 30 adults getting a cochlear implant or a vagal nerve stimulator. The goal is to learn more about how this nerve works, not to treat hearing loss directly.
