Electric pulses aim to calm chronic cough in COPD patients

Summary

This study tests a device that uses short electric pulses to treat chronic bronchitis symptoms in adults with moderate to severe COPD. About 210 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the real treatment or a sham procedure. The goal is to see if the treatment safely reduces symptom burden, measured by a standard COPD questionnaire.
