Tooth-Saving showdown: quick fix vs. deep clean for Kids' cavities

NCT ID NCT07230717

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to treat severely infected baby molars in children aged 4 to 8. Researchers will compare a simpler, quicker procedure (pulpotomy) against a more extensive one (pulpectomy) to see which is more successful at saving the tooth. Each child will receive both treatments on different teeth, and success will be tracked over one year, along with measures of the child's anxiety during the procedures.
