First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests three special materials used to treat deep cavities in children's permanent molars that are still growing. The goal is to keep the tooth alive and allow the root to finish forming normally. Sixty-nine children aged 7 to 10 will receive one of the three materials during a pulpotomy procedure, and their teeth will be checked for pain, swelling, and root growth over time.
