New tooth-saving material tested in head-to-head trial

Summary

This study compares a new calcium silicate material to a standard one (MTA) for keeping the tooth nerve alive after removing deep decay. Fifty-six people aged 14 to 35 with reversible pulpitis will receive a miniature pulpotomy. The main goal is to see which material better maintains pulp vitality over 6 months.
