First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a home-based pulmonary rehabilitation program using new technology and health coaching helps people with COPD stick with their rehab after a hospital stay, compared to the usual referral to a center-based program. About 296 adults aged 40 and older who were hospitalized for COPD took part. The goal was to see if the home option improves adherence and quality of life.
